Bike

Granddaddy got Megan her first big-girl bike for her birthday. She's already crashed it into my van and wiped out and skinned her knee. :)

Megan's Birthday Party

Megan turned six this past weekend and we threw her a Webkinz birthday party. William built a Wheel of Wow and we had the Jellybean Challenge and "Candy Bash" (pinata) and a Wheel of Wow birthday cake. Megan and her friends had a good time but I am very glad it is over!

The tooth fairy pays a visit.

Megan lost her first tooth on Friday. She's not a complete snaggle-tooth though because her permanent tooth had been growing behind the baby one.

Nags Head Part 1

Here are the first of many pictures from Nags Head. We have a great video of James wiping out in the water the first time he went in, but it is on my regular video camera so I can't upload it.

Playing at the Farm

They liked playing in the sprinkler but it was very muddy.

New Kitties

We tried adding another kitten to the family. A woman at work had a cat that had 2 kittens and of course I couldn't take just one. They had to stay at my parents house for 4 weeks though before I could let them be near Lucy so they could be tested for feline HIV. Before the 4 weeks were over though, they both became farm cats at William's parents. They were constantly underfoot and James liked to pick them up by the tail. They are much happier there. We named them Linus (the black & white one; he was coming home with us so we would have a Lucy and a Linus) and Charlie Brown (the black one; we shortened it to just Charlie though). William already had one cat hanging around the farm and his name is now Schroeder. :)

Fourth of July

We took the kids to play on the animals at the mall. The kids and I and my parents went to see fireworks later in the day. William was with his family as his dad had surgery that night.
