Future Supermodel

The first two poses were all Megan's. That's what she did when I got the camera and told her I wanted to take her picture. After seeing her potential as a model, I asked her to pose like a cat in the third one. :)

Megan's Favorite Activity

Megan loves to get on nickjr.com and play the games on there. She's pretty good at working the computer all by herself now. Not bad for being only 4 years old.

James' Soon to be Bald Head

I

took this picture because of his cute little outfit, but it really shows off his weird balding pattern. William and I had high hopes he wouldn't get the "bald as a cueball" look Megan had going when she was a baby, especially since he was born with so much hair. But he's definitely heading in that direction now.

Megan the Photographer

While I feed James his cereal for the first time, Megan got to play with the camera. Somehow I don't think photography is her calling in life. :)

Rice Cereal

We started James on rice cereal on March 22. This was the only night he actually would eat any of it. I tried a few more nights and he just pushed it back out his mouth. I'll probably try again tonight but I'm not pushing it.

Thumb Sucking

James discovered his thumb the other day. He's finally taking some interest in toys now too. Just to chew on them, but he's still interested.

Outside

Storage Room

Really excuse the mess in this room. We have another dump trip planned for this weekend so all those boxes should be out of here by then.

Our Bedroom

We're just using this room to put the stuff that hasn't found a permanent place in the house yet.

Basement/Family Room

We also have another bathroom upstairs but you can't take a good picture of that. Its either all toilet or shower curtain, but its not that interesting of a bathroom either. We still have a lot of work to do down in the family room. When we get some money again we plan on setting up a small area to watch tv or play video games down here.

James' room

This is where we are sleeping right now, since we do not have bedroom furniture of our own. Hopefully we can get rid of that crappy bed soon and get a decent one for James. As you can see, his closet is pretty big too. The only one without a huge walk-in closet is the room downstairs that we're taking.

Megan's Closet

I hope these pictures do justice to how big her closet is. We have her shoes and hanging clothes in there, but other than that its used as her playroom.
That's her Easter dress hanging above her head too. :)

Megan's Bedroom

Megan got the master bedroom. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs and since we didn't want one of the kids downstairs by themselves, Megan got the master bedroom. We're planning on painting her room, getting new bedding and window treatments from Pottery Barn Kids and hanging butterflies and bees from the ceiling. I also saw some giant flowers that I want to get and put a picket fence along one wall with the giant flowers.

Living Room

We have a lot of painting and decorating to do still.

Dining Area

Excuse the scrapbooking mess on the table. :)

4 Months Old

I try to catch his smiles, but the flash surprises him and he always has a confused look on his face by the time the picture takes. James turned 4 months old on March 14th.

Valentines Day

Megan got both Ice Age movies for Valentines Day plus a chocolate heart. James didn't get squat but I don't think he minded. :) Megan was actually well this week, she was in between her ear infections. James also turned 3 months old on Valentines Day.

Bumbo Seat

James is finally starting to enjoy sitting in the Bumbo seat. I have to watch him closely though because once he's decided he's had enough, he tries to propel himself out of there.

Megan posing for the camera

These were all taken at the parent's house. We were there all day waiting on William to fix my car so we had lots of time to take pictures and play with the options on Mom's camera (that's why there is a border on Megan's picture).
