Grandma's Boy

This is how my mom spent her days watching James for me. :)

Big Boy

Another thing Megan did at this age that Grandma taught James to do as well.

Funny Noises

I don't even know what you call this, but its cute.

Snooty Face

Here is James making the "snooty face". Megan did this too when she was this age.

Megan Singing

She would kill me if she knew this was on here. It embarrasses her to see it.

Christmas Day

Yes, that is our dinky little Charlie Brown Christmas tree. We didn't want to pay full price for an artifical tree and a live tree seemed like a waste of money, so we made due with the tree from Megan's bedroom last year, with the intention of buying an artifical one on sale after Christmas. Of course we didn't plan on me having a job where I actually had to work the day after Christmas, or that I would be too sick to go to work, let alone shop the day after Christmas. So we may have to make due with our dinky tree again next year and hope our plan works out better then. :)
Santa left Megan the Digital Arts and Crafts Studio. She was so excited about this, but something is wrong with our computer and it keeps freezing up everytime I try to load the software on it. So she hasn't even gotten to play with it yet. :(

Hannah Montana hair.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve over at my parents house as usual this year. James was still sick but he was acting fine. Megan threw up for the last time that morning and was feeling well enough to go over to Grandma's. I still had no idea what I was in store for the next morning. :)

Grandma and Grandaddy got Megan the Julie American Girl doll. They also got her Julie's Christmas outfit and her pet bunny "Nutmeg". Nutmeg was the big hit of the night for Megan.

James loves to push and pull things around. He got two "stride and ride" toys. We're leaving them in the "stride" mode right now because that's what he loves to do. One of his favorite toys is a popper Aunt Nancy bought Megan several years ago. Its broken and the balls don't pop anymore but he doesn't care. He pushes that thing all around the house.

Leaving out milk and cookies for Santa. We had to borrow cookies from Grandma because Megan was too sick to make any at home this year. :(
Leaving a note for Santa.

Christmas at the Mall

We took the kids to the mall a couple days before Christmas to get their pictures taken with Santa. James wouldn't have any of it though. He enjoyed watching Santa from afar, but when we would take him in closer to set him on Santa's lap, he would start screaming. So just Megan is in the picture this year. They were all smiles at the mall, but both of them were sick before dinner that night. :(

William is starting to get annoyed with me here. I was supposed to be picking up a last minute gift for Megan from Santa and we put them in this car to distract her so I could run and get it. William thought I was taking too much time taking pictures though. :)

Santa on the Fire Truck

Santa came to Grandma and Grandaddy's neighborhood on a firetruck so we took the kids to see him. James keep walking off the walkway and falling into the grass and rolling. If it weren't so dark out, I would have taken a video. It was pretty funny watching him roll down the yard. Santa also came to our neighborhood on a firetruck. This time he had a large Dalmation with him and got off the truck for pictures. We had to walk to the street behind us to see him and of course when I went to take their pictures with Santa, my batteries died. Next year I will be better prepared. :)

Daisy Girl Scouts

Here's Megan in her Daisy uniform. She is supposed to earn the center badge at her meeting this week, then they will start working on the petals that go around. They are changing the Daisy program next year to be a two-year program and her troop has decided to stay Daisys next year too instead of moving up to Brownies right away. So, she'll be working on her daisy badges for 2 years. She's really enjoying it so far.
