Christmas Card Reject

I had planned on taking the photo for the Christmas cards myself this year since I have a fancy new camera. So I took the kids around the house and posed them different ways trying to figure out how I wanted them positioned. I ended up getting some sort of stomach bug and we had to get portraits done at the church for the new directory so I ended up getting the cards through them. But Megan loved this picture because of James and his crazy eyes.

James Preschool Thanksgiving Program

James' preschool had a Thanksgiving program and dinner. James would sing the songs around the house, but at the program, he just moved his mouth and didn't sing anything.

James and his buddy Michael.

Recliner

While visiting Lana and Lyn, James spotted this recliner in Lyn's basement. Lyn asked him if he wanted it and James said, "Put it in the car!" Typical man fell asleep in it while watching tv. The only thing missing is his hand in his pants like Al Bundy.

James 4th Birthday

After changing his mind several times, James decided on a Spongebob cake for his birthday. He also thought Jesus would like a Spongebob cake at Christmas for his birthday.

He wanted Thomas toys, so that's what I got him. We let him open this while we were waiting for Uncle Matt to get there. Daddy had to work so he didn't get to come. Aunt Nancy and Uncle Gary were in town and they brought him some Thomas trains to go with his new toys.

Singing Happy Birthday. You may notice Megan is not wearing her glasses now. She got a contact for her bad eye. I believe she is the second youngest person at her eye doctor's to get contacts. She was very excited until she learned how hard they were to take care of. But she's a pro now and gets it in and out very easily.

Toy Story toys from Uncle Matt.

Toy Story 3 movie from Megan

A train signal and "ding dings" from Granddaddy. James loves signals and ding dings.

Halloween

I got Megan's costume at Target last year after Halloween when they had everything 90% off. I paid $1 for it.

Mom's Halloween Dinner

We eat dinner with my parents every Sunday evening and since Halloween fell on a Sunday this year, my mom made a special Halloween-themed dinner. We got the kids ready over there so my parents could see them in their costumes and then headed out to trick or treat.
