Our last evening at the beach. The kids and I went to play miniature golf. James' version of playing. Hitting the ball once, then picking up the ball and dropping it into the hole. I didn't mind though because it made the game go a whole lot faster.
Krista's fake tattoo Megan getting her hair wrapped. This had to have hurt, yet she sat there and didn't make a peep. She sees me from across the room with a hairbrush in my hand and she starts screaming. Finished product. While they said it could last a year, I let her keep it in until the day school started and then it came out. It was a little annoying to deal with. Ready to go to the beach.
Fourth of July at the beach. I even got Krista to put on the headband. James conked out watching the fireworks. Dad had to prop his head up so he could snooze. Megan's swimming improved so much at the beach I cancelled her swim lessons when we got back home. And it was all due to my dad's awesome teaching. View from the top deck.
My mom got tickets to see a local production of Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business. Megan loves the Junie B. books and enjoyed the play. I can't believe how long her hair was here too.
Megan finished up her Combo classes last May. She was taking a ballet/tap combined class. Her recital dance this year was a tap dance to "Almost There" from the Princess and the Frog. I have a video of the rehearsal, but it is really poor quality.
